Hello everyone. I would like to begin the month of September by thanking everyone for your outpouring of wonderful comments regarding our August publication. We strive hard each month to bring you the most entertaining product available on our beautiful island. Many thanks to our terrific readers and advertisers.

One thing we know for sure is that our readers are always looking for wonderful places to eat and drink. Waves regular contributors Tom Valliere and Charlie Bresenham are here as always this month with two outstanding Galveston venues you won't want to miss. 

Champion cooker William (Wild Bill) Powell has a mouth watering recipe for you that is simply amazing. Be sure and go by and see Billy and Barbara at their beautiful store Wild Bill's. 

The ever popular Miss Bunny, a Waves regular contributor, has a recipe that is simple to make but oh so tasty.

Super talented stand up comedian 

Caroline Picard has a laugh out loud joke for us this month in her Waves exclusive Comedy Corner column. Caroline is a comedy headliner all over the country. She is also a featured performer on Carnival Cruise Lines. Don't miss her terrific performances.

Dr. Richard Henderson is with us again this month with his must read Pet Corner column. Dr. Henderson is one of Galveston's premier veterinarians and pet care specialists. His insight is very special to all of us.

The Kitchen Chick has a great line up of cooking classes being offered throughout the month of September. Attend one of her classes and learn from the best. Also go by and check out her beautiful Galveston store.

We have a terrific fishing section again this month. This has turned into an extremely popular section. This month expert fisherman Patrick Lemire will show you how to catch giant tuna. Check out our fantastic fishing guides and book a trip with them. Also go by and see Chris Gonzales, owner of Serious Tackle, for all your fishing gear and tackle.
